About Me
I have always been passionate about people. I have always enjoyed being surrounded by crowds. I like observing people, how they interact, the emotions that people show, and how they respond and manage them.
Specifically, I have a curiosity and scrutiny about the emotional health of children.
I am deeply conscious of how the emotional challenge has indeed, a great impact on children's development in all areas; as it is not only expressed in certain behaviors but also has a strong correlation with children's cognitive development, which can be easily seen in their daily performance at home and school.
As a teacher and tutor, I am now actively involved with school-age children and teens.
I had various teaching experiences with kindergartens to teens; the regular ones with special cases, or special needs ones.
Most of my capabilities were equipped with various hands-on experiences.
Programs
Individual Tutoring
A session for a child with special needs or children with learning difficulties who need to take a specific and focused aim in academics.
Group Tutoring
A group tutoring with a total of five children in a group. Focus on academic and non academic. Dealing with emotional and communication challenge.
School Readiness Program
A program that prepare kids to be ready to step into school society. Program covers five areas which are self-awareness, rational thinking, social, academic, and vocational.

Honestly, I haven't known Miss Desy for decades, but it already feels like decades to me. Her presence, love, and dedication to me and Philip is a godsend. Aside from being a therapist and teacher to my son, she's also a mentor for me in coping with my son. I have difficulties in teaching my son academically, but Desy does a great job in this field. Early intervention was difficult, but Desy could stay patient all the time when Philip didn't comply. Today, Philip can read, write, and count.
